as hard as it can be, everyone needs to find the time to relax. including you. yes you. ok that was cheesy im not doing that again i promise. :) but take that bubble bath, book that massage, and maybe even stop working on that big project long enough to chill.

As summer sadly draws to a close, I was thinking about what I had hoped to accomplish. I wanted to go on midnight adventures at the beach with my friends, bonfires, and even going bridge jumping in to the ocean. Because every summer I tell myself I will do these things that both excited and scare me, and I never do. This summer I made a bucket list and crossed every single item off of it, and it was and still is the best summer yet! So go push yourself out of your comfort zone and go on an adventure!

Have you ever had a friend that felt more like an enemy? Somebody that was always giving you backhanded compliments, or finding ways to tear down your self esteem? It's time to cut those people out of your life. You deserve people that will care about you, or people that will genuinely be happy for you when you accomplish something. However, so many people say "But if I cut that person out, I have nobody." But think about it - is it better to have nobody, or have somebody that is a bully? End all you toxic relationships, and I promise new friendships will come.

I gave you one of my favorite songs that destresses me. there is also an acoustic version that is great. maybe this song doesn't help you relax, but find your own. look at some spotify playlists, or find an old song that takes you back to that summer vacation last year. whatever it is, find it, and enjoy. music is key to being happy, and if you create it, then perform! find what makes you happy, and do it.

So, its the end of vacation. back to the sometimes boring, seemingly never ending stream of work or school. but try not to look at it that way. a common thing to do is to go through the week waiting and waiting for the end. but this week try to challenge yourself. at the end of each period in your school day, or section of time in your work, write down something fun that happened previously. live in the moment. not gonna lie, friday is still my favorite day of the week. but by doing this little exercise it helps to make the other days fun as well.
